Speed guns used as evidence?
I was curious to as whether the police hand held speed guns have the capacity to take photos/video footage?
I once asked a police officer from Thames Valley Police who was doing the speed checks using the speed gun if they had photo/video footage and he said no, just a number on the screen, Im wondering if this is the same for all forces and can I use the excuse "prove you pointed it at me?"

No, you can't. The speed gun merely corroborate's the officer's opinion that you were speeding.
