Is the Duster going to suffer DPF issues?

Would you foresee any likely problems with the Dacia Duster dCi 110 4x2 diesel engine, e.g. Particulate filter, DMF and exhaust gas recirculation valves? The vehicle received positive reviews from James Foxall Telegraph Weekend.

Same old Renault engine as used in the Qashqai, Juke, even the new Mercedes A Class. If used for repeated short runs from cold this is inevitable. If used as intended and run to temperature then should be okay. But the car has been out for a couple of years so there should be something on Google. These people are offering DPFs for Dusters at half price: www.onlineautomotive.co.uk/Dacia_Duster_DPF.aspx

Given all you have said about diesels/particulate filters etc and their expense - if driving mostly short haul, stop start etc - what is a VW Touran 1.6 auto deisel like?
