Pairing an iPhone with a newer car
I cannot pair my iPhone 4S with the phone system in my 3 year old (59 plate) Tiguan. The local VW dealer advises that the bluetooth module will have to be replaced - cost £380. Are there any cheaper alternatives than this? Thanks for any help you can give.

Typical VAG. The £380 you have been quoted is the cheap answer. Had it been a FIAT you could simply have downloaded the new pairing codes for phones not already in the system. iPhone 4s do pair readily with the latest BMW Bluetooth.
