Best tyres for a Lexus IS
My car is a Lexus IS250, 2008, with 225/45/R17 tyres (front) and 245/45/R17 (rear).
I recognise that 16 inch rims may have been better but, with the existing 17 inch wheels, which tyres will give the smoothest and most comfortable ride over rough or otherwise less than perfect surfaces?

On 17s, 225/45 R17s all round. Probably Michelin Primacy 3 or Pilot Sport 3. Or Goodyear Excellence. But better to go to 16s with 205/55 R16 Toyo J48s or Primacy 3s or Excellence.

Very well built. Top quality interior. Lexus dealers are best in the business. Impressive refinement. All engines chain cam. IS250 probably the most reliable car you can buy.
