I have an 03 old-type Subaru Outback 3.0. I need new rear tyres (size 215/60/R16). The front wheels have mud and snow tyres and the back has a Dunlop on one side and a Yokohama Geolandar on the other (I bought the car only recently and this is how it came). The rears now need replacement a.s.ap., so I asked my garage to get in some mud and snow tyres for the back but he has tried and failed to get any as they are apparently unavailable as yet.

I use my car mostly on country lanes, a little bit in town and occasionally on motorways, but quite often on muddy or pebbly tracks and farm driveways and sometimes across grassy or muddy fields, through fords etc. When we have a bad winter, the lanes round here can be very treacherous.

Can you recommend a suitable tyre for me for all year round use, please, as I'm very confused looking at websites. I want to buy the tyres direct so I can pay by credit card, which my mechanic doesn't take, and then get him to fit them, so advice on the best place to order would be very helpful too.
