What automatic transmission congestion-charge free cars are there?
A 79 year-old relative wishes to buy a congestion-charge free car BUT it must have automatic transmission.
I have spent some time looking in to this and so far have only really come up with the Toyota Prius - he does not want one of these as apparently the A-pillars obscure his field of view - but surely there must be more choice than this?
I thought I was on to a winner with the Volvo V40 entry-level diesel but it looks like the lowest-powered variant to meet his needs would be the 150 bhp version which is just a bit too powerful!

For city use must be a hybrid, NOT a diesel. Choice of Honda Insight, Toyota Yaris Hybrid, Toyota Auris HSD as well as Prius.
If you cover no more than 100 miles per day and have easy access to a charging point at home or work, then an EV is ideal for you.
