Lexus GS450h - Cat D bargain or lemon?
I have been offered a 2007 Lexus GS450h with one owner, and just 45,000 miles on the clock for £11,000. It looks and drives very well, but it has had its engine rebuilt after sucking up water.
It's on the HPI register as a Cat D car. Firstly, should I steer clear? Secondly, is it worth getting it inspected, to have it reclassified as 'condition inspected' rather than a Cat D?
