Too many short trips
I have been told by my local BMW dealer that my driving profile, as it appears on the car’s computer, is 'undesirable', due to too many short trips (like many of your readers have already confessed to do) and that was the reason why the battery was low and some functions were not working.
I love my 520d Touring (it’s only one year old) but living and working in London I don’t get many chances of driving it for long periods.
What would you recommend for keeping the battery strong? How many times a week and for how long or how many miles? Would it be better in town or motorway will do? The dealer just told me to use it 'more'.
Any suggestion will be highly appreciated, as usual.

You need to do a straight run at over 1750rpm for at least 50 miles every week.
