Tyre inflation - nitrogen vs normal air
I am told nitrogen filled tyres rarely need checking because they do not deflate like ordinary air filled tyres. Is this true? Is it worth paying to change to nitrogen?

Seems to be true. But I asked Michelin and they saw no real reason to fill tyres with pure nitrogen for road use. (Air is 80% nitrogen anyway.)
