Fan blower not working on settings 1,2 and 3
My 2005 Vauxhall Vectra's heating system only works only setting number 4. The fan resistor was replaced by Vauxhall; stil not working. Fan motor was then replaced by a second mechanic - still not working. A third auto elctrician then said the relay was not working - so was replaced.
The end result - it's still not working. Now the auto electrician says it might be the fuse box? I am getting fed up of inefficient mechanics, and spending money for nothing.

Well your blower motor is fed via a Fuse (fuse 23 (which is 40amp) then two relays (relay 1 and relay 2). And a heater blower speed resistor
Can't understand why they would replace the blower motor if as you say it works on setting 4.
You might be best to get a Auto electrician (not a mechanic) to check the circuit out.

Far better than previous Vectra. Now with decent handling and an excellent ride. Plenty of safety kit. Roomy in the front. Big boot. Good looks.
