Creak mythology?
In response to GW's letter regarding creaks in his trim (TW 15 December), I have found that a scattering of talcum powder in the trim gaps will cure the problem. Alternatively - test a small area first to make sure it does not mark the trim - squirt a small amount of WD 40 into the gaps.
