Buying a Honda Jazz - what should I expect?
I am currently an owner of the mark 1 Toyota Yaris 1.3 (5 speed manual) but it has now done huge mileage (147k) and I want to replace with the Honda Jazz CVT (2008), last of the old shape.
Just wanted to know how reliable the CVT gearbox (GD1) is, as I have read very mixed reviews? I have got my eye on one that has done 51k with FSH and had one previous owner. It is a 58 plate but registered in Jan 2009(asking price £4650).

Very reliable in comparison to everything else. But a lot sold so when something goes wrong people scream loudly. Needs new fluid every 3 years or so. The last year of UKL imports of old shape Jazz were built in China. More in the entry in www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar
