Freelander 2 starting problems

When I press the starter button the engine sometimes fails to turn over as if the battery is low. It may take 2 or 3 attempts till the engine turns over and starts normally as if the battery is okay.

Starter motor/flywheel engagement problem. Might be the DMF starting to fail.
