Is buying preregistered a good idea?
What are your thoughts on buying a new but preregistered car to get a discount?

If the registration on the V5 is transferred to you immediately, then fine. You pay a second hand price for a 2nd hand car. You are not getting a discount. If the registration is not transferred to you immediately then legal and insurance problems can ensue.
