MINI Cooper S - ABS / DSC control unit
One of our company cars is an 07 plate MINI Cooper S with about 80,000 miles on the clock (mainly motorway).
A colleague recently had a couple of warning lights show (the ABS and something else) whilst driving although they went out after a while. The car is in the local MINI dealer for an MoT this week and we asked them to check the fault.
They are now saying the car needs a new ABS / DSC control unit. The part is about £1100 and the labour will be about £250, both plus VAT of course.
Is a replacement part our only option or can we get the control unit reconditioned or repaired somewhere?
