Rattling car - what can I do?
Hi HJ, I bought my car new in November 2012 and noticed a rattle after the first week which I emailed the salesman about.
My car has been back to the dealership four times for the same annoying rattle under the dashboard, each time they say they have repaired it, I have taken a member of the sales team out each time and they have confirmed that the rattle is still there, the last time this happened I exploded in their sales room with some swearing!
Can you advise me what I should do next please? I do like the car and would like a replacement but will I get the same problem?

I don't think a court would regard a minor rattle behind a dashboard as grounds to reject a car.
