Demanding a courtesy car during warranty work?

I am the owner of a Nissan Navara Tekna auto pickup. Up to 21st December 2012 I was a very happy owner. I took the vehicle in to the main dealer with an electrical problem (4wd warning light) to be informed that it need a new wiring loom. It's still under manufacturers warranty as the vehicle was less than 2 years old (40,000 miles on clock).

As of today, 9th April 2013, the vehicle is still sitting at main the dealers "waiting for parts". I have logged the situation with Nissan customer services but nobody has any idea when the part (main harness) will be available.

I have been provided with a courtesy car which is a Micra and so totally unsuitable for the type of use I need a vehicle for (my pickup is needed for my business). I am told that the warranty will keep me mobile, but not with a like for like vehicle.

I am totally at a loss as to how to proceed. Do you have any suggestions?

Demand a like for like vehicle and tell the dealer that if he does not provide it you will hire one and sue him for the cost of it.
