How can I get in touch with the DVLA to enquire about my provisional driving licence?

I applied for a provisional driving licence online and I didn't provide my passport number. There was a page that came up that I was meant to print but I could not because I had no printer. I then logged out, and the next time I logged on I could not get through to the page. I have paid for the provisional licence but haven't received a letter and I don't know wether to post my passport or not. I have tried calling the DVLA but it's always on answer phone. What can I do now?

There's no way round it, you need to get in touch with someone at the DVLA - it's the only way to get it sorted out. Try these details below, I phoned the number this morning (it's only available during office hours, so that might be why you're getting an answer phone message). I was able to get through. Alternatively, there's an email address: www.dft.gov.uk/dvla/contactus/drivers_enquiries.as...x
