Should I buy a Toyota Yaris which has been used for towing?

I am trying to buy my first car and have come across an ideal Toyota Yaris 1.0 VVT-I T2, priced at £3850. It looks great inside, is five years old and has only done 33,000 miles. My only concern is the presence of a tow bar on the rear of the vehicle. For such a small car, is this normal? And should I watch out for anything in terms of it having caused extra wear?

This is not normal and the Yaris has a very low towing limit. It was probably pulling a camping trailer, but if you can find the name and address of the previous owner, it's worth checking with him that it hasn't been pulling a hamburger stand.
