Where can I buy a cheap car for £1000?
Please help. I want to buy a cheap 5-door car for my daughter who bought a rubbish car that I want her to get out of. I have a budget of £1000 and she lives in Chiswick. Do you know a good dealer in the area where I can get her a Ford Fiesta 5-door or similar?

Get down to the part-exchange auctions and buy it there. There can never be a proper warranty on a £1000 car anyway, so you might as well buy it as cheaply as you possibly can. The dealer margin on a £1000 car will be £500 to £750, so why pay £1000 for a £250 car?
