Can I use non-recommended Michelin tyres on my Aston Martin DB9?
I have a 2006 Aston Martin DB9 with Bridgestone tyres which were developed for this car and, until recently, were the only ones available in the correct sizes (front 235/40 ZR19, rear 275/35 ZR19). Michelin has recently started to manufacture these sizes and I would prefer to use these, but Aston Martin do not recommend using them. What do you feel?

That's simply because Aston Martin has not done a deal with Michelin that benefits Aston Martin sufficiently. Nothing to do with you. I think you'll be looking at Michelin Pilot Super Sports which are £267.43 each for two 235/40 R19 fronts and £322.55 each for two 275/35 R19 rears.
