Can you recommend a cheap, basic, no-frills car?

I am retired and want to buy my last car. I do not want to pay for extras that I will hardly ever use such as air conditioning or electric wing mirrors. Is there such a thing as a basic motor without the frills these days?

Consider the Dacia Duster base model at £8,995 or Dacia Sandero base model at £5,995. But the real bargains in the Sandero range are the TCe90 and dCI 90, from £7,395.

Unbelievably cheap for this size of car, generous interior space and a big boot, reasonably comfortable to drive.
