Our Jeep was recently stolen from the drive. It was very old 1995 and not worth more than about £500. My husband has a protected no claims bonus and an excess of £100. We own two other cars a 2007 335i BMW valued at about £20,000 and a Porsche 911 with an agreed value of £35,000. One of the cars is insured in my name and we are both insured to drive any of the cars. Will this have an impact on our future insurance costs? Should we claim for the Jeep or take the hit?

Unfortunately you have to report it to your insurer and take whatever hit they impose on you. You are not allowed to leave an insurance running on a car you no longer have.
