Loss of coolant in Vauxhall Insignia
A few weeks ago a warning light on my six-month old Vauxhall Insignia indicated a low coolant level. In fact the reservoir was almost empty requiring about two litres of water to fill it to the required level. The dealer could find no reason for the loss of coolant nor has the problem recurred since. Do you have any idea what might have happened?

Could be that switching on the heater for the first time after the summer created an airlock and that forced coolant out of the header tank pressure cap.
