Which convertible sports car should I buy?
I am 66 and want to buy a convertible car. I would prefer a 1.6-litre but a 1.8-litre is a possibility, and not too high on insurance, please. Got no preference on fuel, the car is not currently garaged but on driveway in a decent area.

You can pick up a used Mazda MX-5 1.8 cheaply, but it might not be roomy enough inside for you. An alternative is a Peugeot 207CC. Best engine the 1.6THP 150, otherwise the 1.6VTI 120.

A great sports car. Incredibly nimble. Responsive steering. Easy to live with day to day. Comparatively inexpensive to run. Roof is easy to fold down.
Improves on the 206 CC in every single area. A quite impressive coupe-cabriolet. Best of the CCs this size.
