My SEAT Toledo is leaking badly - is there an easy fix?
I have had a 2003 SEAT Toledo TDI Sport for most of its 75,000-mile life and recently it has started to leak quite badly, with the carpets on the driver's floor area and passenger area getting quite wet. My garage has said that leaks are difficult to trace, short of taking out the seats and carpets. I am reluctant to go to this expense as the car has not much of a value. Any suggestions?

Either the waterproof plastic membranes inside the doors have failed, or rainwater is coming in via the pollen filter because the bulkhead vent well drains are blocked. Or the pollen filter waterproof cover has not been refitted correctly.
