I garage my Mercedes-Benz SL500 each winter. This spring I noticed, to my horror, that mice had eaten some of the engine compartment insulation. We live in a rural location and, upon the crops being removed, rodents look for somewhere to overwinter and last year chose our garage. I am reluctant to lock it away again but do not want to leave it outside in the winter months. I have considered parking the car throughout the winter standing in four filled paddling pools, on the assumption that mice will not swim to the wheels. What do you think?
