Delays to delivery time of a new Ford Kuga - why?

We have ordered a new Titanium X petrol Ford Kuga and have been told possible 10 week build delay along with many other people according to the Kuga forum. We have asked why and been told all sorts of tales - no leather, sat nav, towbar, plus a few more. Ford customer services are no help.

Do you have any info or maybe you might have some inside information?

Ford is having a lot of problems with suppliers at the moment due to the forthcoming closure of the Genk factory.
