Damage to new car prior to delivery - do I accept the car?
The evening before picking up my new vehicle (£30K worth!) the dealer called to say the valet had driven it into a wall and the bumper and wing will have to be replaced at the body-shop.
What are my rights?
I don't see the vehicle as being new if it has a replacement wing that has been sprayed to match the rest of the vehicle, not to mention the inconvenience / embarrassment of our new car arriving 2 weeks late having spent the first two week of it life in some back street garage!

You don't have to accept it at all. You can demand your deposit and any money you have already paid back and if they don't give it to you straight away get a solicitor onto it.
