Do I need to turn off stop-start on the motorway?
Do half hour stints on the motorway warrant disabling auto stop-start so as to avoid engine cut-out when hitting inevitable traffic lights immediately after exiting a motorway? You note in previous questions about this that the engine won't cut-out if too hot anyway. Is the technology that clever or am I just a cynic?

No because they usually have a heat sensor that prevents the engine from stopping if the turbo is too hot.
