Should my insurance premiums rise after for my son’s accidents?
I had a car insurance policy with my son being a named driver. My son had a no fault accident and a fault accident - this insurance policy is now cancelled.
I have now been advised by the insurance company that I need to show these as claims against me as I was the policy holder. My son has his own insurance and also has to show these claims. Surely this is double jeopardy, as we are both having to pay more?

If your son had the crashes in your car then they are both hits against your policy and he has to disclose them to his own insurer.
