Dealer wants me to pay for wheels that were replaced under warranty
The alloy wheels on my Mercedes C-Class (2010) were replaced after showing signs of blistering and discolour. However, the dealer who carried out the work under the warranty is now demanding £367 towards the cost, as the warranty has actually expired.
As a goodwill gesture, the dealer is offering to pay 75 per cent of the bill, but they want me to pay the remainder. I have refused until I seek further advice as none of this was ever mentioned prior to the work being carried out.

Someone is trying to save their skin here. But you have the wheels. It's up to you. I guess they might try to sue you for the whole 100 per cent, but I don't think a small claims court judge would have much sympathy with them.
