Buying an estate/hatch - recommendations?
My Mazda 2 has just been written off following an accident and I need to buy a replacement. Ideally, I would like something bigger and more practical, with some performance and a petrol engine.
I have £9000 - £11,000 to spend and I've been thinking of a BMW 3 Series touring, Honda Accord estate or Octavia VR. Which do you recommend?

A Mazda 3 1.6 100PS has some of the feel of a Mazda 2. So, obviously, does a Focus. More practical cars like the Honda Jazz do not. If you want to jump up to a Skoda Octavia VRS or SEAT Leon FR or Cupra, that's one way though.
