Want to contest a parking ticket, but employer won’t let me – what should I do?
I recently received a parking charge notice from parking eye for over staying my break at Corley services on the M6. I have appealed and got a reply saying they only reply in writing and this can take 10 days.
This gives me little time as the PCN goes up to £100 after 14 days from issue. My employer says if I do not pay he will take this out my pay to cover this charge as the HGV is registered to his company but I was the driver. How do I stand on all these matters?

Since your employer is bullying you there isn't anything you can do except resign, which would be foolish. Had you been a private individual then the simple answer would be not to pay and if they took you to court go to court and state you were following government orders that "Tiredness can kill. Take a break." And using the government designated motorway rest area.
If your drivers hours were up, then you had no alternative than to "rest" in the motorway "rest area" and your employer has no right to penalise you for conforming with the law.
