Air con failure on 2011 Honda - should the dealer pay for repair?
I bought my 2008 CRV 2.0 Automatic as an approved used car from a Honda dealership in 2011. Recently my air con stopped working. Upon taking it to get the air re-gassed, I was advised the compressor was faulty. Apparently this is a common problem
Given that this is a known issue, what are my options? Are Honda obliged to fix this even though it is out of the warranty period?

Honda is usually generous about this sort of thing. Might be no more than the electromagnetic clutch on the compressor anyway, a £100 job rather than an £800 job to replace the whole compressor.
