Best reliable, second hand estate/station wagon - any ideas?
I'm looking to buy a second hand estate/station wagon, to be driven to the south of France and back again a few times. Don't want to spend more than 8-9k. Surfboards/skis will be on the roof or in the car. Happy to buy something up to 8 or 9 years old, though obviously the newer the better.
The other issue is that I have a car to sell (an Audi A3) and would prefer to keep the admin to a minimum, so a trade in would be ideal.
All suggestions welcome.
Thank you.

Have a wander around www.cargiant.co.uk A Mondeo 2.0TDCI estate would probably do the job best.
