Paint imperfections on new car - can I return it?

I am the proud owner of a brand new Alfa Romeo Guilietta 1.4 170 Sportiva - this is the first time I have ever owned a new car. Sadly, I’ve noticed some small scratches where the front bumper joins the wing. I know I haven't done them and am pretty sure there not animal scratches or even vandalism.

I have asked a friend who runs their own bodyshop business and been told to return it straight away and say they've tried to cover up the imperfections.
Question is how can I prove that it wasn't anything I’ve done or anyone else for that matter and what is the likelihood of the main dealer re-spraying the front wing and bumper at their cost?

Take it back to the dealer and complain, as the bodyshop lady advised. They might try it on that you caused the problem. It was probably rectification work at the end of the production line.
