What's the mpg difference between the 1.0 ecoflex and 1.2 ecoflex engines?

I'm thinking of buying a Vauxhall Agila. Can you tell me the real mpg difference between the 1.0 ecoflex and 1.2 ecoflex engines?

47.2mpg for the 1.0 and 54.6 for the 1.2.

48.9mpg for the 1.0 and 48.6mpg for the 1.2 identical Suzuki Splash.

The reason could well be that the 1.0 litre cars are used for shorter journeys on which cars use more fuel than on longer runs.

Surprisingly spacious small five-door city car. Makes best sense with 1.0 petrol engine. Much better than old Agila. Rebadged version of Suzuki Splash.
