I purchased a nearly new Vauxhall Astra from a main dealer last month. The car had only covered 1800 miles, but I have found that the ride is extremely hard, particularly at anything over 40mph.

I have looked into the car’s specifications and discovered that it’s on 18-inch wheels and fitted with uprated sports suspension. Do I have any claim against the supplying garage for not making the modifications known to me at the time of purchase? And would replacing the wheels and tyres make any appreciable difference?
