Second hand 4x4- what would you recommend?
I want to buy a second hand (up to four years old) large SUV/4x4 for £25,000. I have narrowed it down to a Lexus RX or a Land Rover Discovery. Priorities are boot space, reliability and running costs. I’ve no plans for off-roading, but would like it to be good in the snow. What would you recommend?

For reliability the Lexus RX. For weight and room but not reliability the Land Rover Discovery.

Refined and cossetting. Strong performance from hybrid powerplant. Superbly engineered and well built. Low CO2 for a large 4x4 along with good fuel economy.
