Registration code areas
I have noticed there are lots of different make cars throughout the country, with registration area code ‘KP’. Is this area of Northampton the headquarters for large fleet registrations or for cars that manufacturers register themselves?

Probably. The cars don't have to physically be in that area to be registered there.
