Leaving a car in storage

I have no garage and will be forced to leave my Mercedes-Benz on my drive for two months whilst I'm out of the country. I will not be able to leave the battery on charge, but I could arrange for a relative to take the car for a drive once a week. Is this a sensible alternative and if so how long or how far should the car be driven?

Yes. As long as conditions are okay, get him/her to take it for a 20 mile drive every fortnight.
