why isn't the Ford EcoSport EcoBoost an automatic ?

The new Ford EcoSport EcoBoost engine produces 125PS, but is not available as an automatic. Yet, the 1.5 Duratec has lower power at 112PS is used as an automatic. Is there a logical reason for this?

In other markets both the 1.0 EcoBoost 125 and the 1.5 Duratec comes with the Powershift transmission.
