Volvo V50 - what tyres are best?
The Continental tyres supplied with my Volvo V50 (205/55-16) now need replacing. I have always bought Michelins in the past and have never had less than 30,000 miles from a set.
Now I have been quoted for Michelin Energy Savers which a cheaper than the Premacy I previously used. Are the ES tyres likely to last as long?

Energy Savers will probably last longer but are stiff sidewall so will affect the ride quality. My favourite tyres this size are Toyo Proxes J46.
