Faulty used car - can we reject it?
We bought a used Citroen C8 two weeks ago on the understanding that the cambelt had been changed and that proof of this would be forthcoming. However, the garage has still not provided this, plus the day after car was collected the windscreen washer was found to be not working and garage take no responsibility for the fault as they insist it must have been working on collection. This is going to cost £100 to fix.
Can the car reasonably be rejected as faulty or could the garage be forced to repair the fault.
