Downsizing from two cars - what should we buy?
Our Yaris Verso auto is getting long in the tooth and we're thinking of downsizing to one vehicle. Our other car, a Kia Cee'd SW auto is perhaps a bit light for towing our 1295kg caravan, although it is just pre-DPF and still has four years warranty left.
We'd prefer a new petrol car to avoid DPF issues on local runs but it needs to be auto and a bit brawnier than the Cee'd. Any suggestions?

New model Mazda 3. Depending how many short runs from cold a Mazda 3 2.2 Skyactiv D auto might do the job. But I'd be inclined to stick with the cee'd for a bit longer. Whatever you do, don't sell it cheap because a cee'd SW 1.6CRDI auto is a car in strong demand.
