Intermittent engine fault with Peugeot 407 diesel

Every few weeks my Peugeot 407 diesel splutters just as though it is starved of fuel, but when I push the engine for a few miles the problem disappears. Any ideas?

Blocked fuel filter, blocked injectors, possibly cause by globules of emulsified moisture in the biodiesel element of the fuel.
