Volkswagen Sharan - how reliable is the auto box?

We are considering buying a Volkswagen Sharan with a six-speed DSG ‘box. Is this box reliable? A salesman mentioned possible gearbox overheating if left in 'D' in sustained traffic

In the Sharan it is the more reliable, heavier duty, wet clutch 6 speed DSG and is more reliable than the dry clutch 7 speed DSG that is the subject of a worldwide recall. Always good to get out of D and into N when stopped.
