Keeping a vehicle of the public roads - what should I do?
Is it legal to keep a vehicle off the public road with no up-to-date documentation? And if so are the DVLA/Police concerned about it if it is not?

Once a SORN is made on a vehicle by the keeper it does not need to be renewed unless he sells it. If the new keeper wants to keep it off the road, he has to make his own SORN. If he wants to drive it on the road he has to insure it, MoT it and tax it.
