Buying a Nissan Juke - which model is best?

We own a Renault Scenic and want to replace it with a Nissan Juke. Can you tell us what model is best?

Nissan Jukes are fun, but not with the standard 1.6i petrol engine which makes them both noisy and slow. Needs the 1.6DIG-T, or at least the 1.5DCI.

Our 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee is tired and we fancy a Mercedes-Benz ML-Class 3.0. We're wary of diesels because we only do trips of about 10 miles. Should we be wary? If so, what's a good petrol alternative?

Far better than the previous model. The Grand model seats seven. Practical and versatile. Excellent crash test rating.
Loads of choice when buying used thanks to its popularity, bold styling, decent value for money.
